Review: Homo Deus: A Brief History of Tomorrow
Author: Yuval Noah Harari
Profound and life changing – The book shifted how I see the world, my future, and has me contemplating how I can guide my children to having the best possible chance in their future. Bill Gates recommended this to me. If Bill can take the time away from making squillions to read this book, so can I.
Well researched, and even better thought out of about where we are heading as a species. It leaves you with relevant questions of how to be (prepare for) in the future, whilst allowing you to let go of some questions that are settled. I am glad Bill recommended me this book – so often recommendations disappoint. Read in conjunction with Thomas Piketty’s Capital in the 21st Century I feel well prepared in how to think about, and attempt to prepare my children for the future.
